Fair housing statement
Realty Metro Group is committed to the principles of equal housing opportunity and fully complies with the Fair Housing Act and all applicable federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
Our commitment
Realty Metro Group is dedicated to providing equal professional service to all clients and customers without regard to race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We believe that every person has the right to equal housing opportunity and we are committed to upholding that right in every transaction, interaction, and service we provide.
This commitment applies to all aspects of our business including the sale, purchase, rental, and financing of residential and commercial real estate across all markets in which we operate.
Protected classes
Under the Fair Housing Act, it is illegal to discriminate in the sale, rental, or financing of housing based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability. Many states and localities extend these protections to additional classes including sexual orientation, gender identity, source of income, marital status, and age.
Realty Metro Group honors all federal, state, and local protected class designations in every market where we operate, and in many cases our internal policies exceed the minimum legal requirements.
What we prohibit
We strictly prohibit any of the following discriminatory practices by our agents, staff, or affiliated partners:
— Refusing to sell, rent, or negotiate housing based on protected class status — Misrepresenting the availability of housing — Steering clients toward or away from neighborhoods based on protected characteristics — Providing different terms, conditions, or privileges in housing transactions — Advertising or marketing housing in a discriminatory manner — Retaliating against any person who exercises their fair housing rights
Accessibility
We are committed to ensuring that our services, offices, and digital platforms are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Our agents are trained to accommodate clients with disabilities and to provide reasonable accommodations throughout the transaction process.
If you require an accommodation or have accessibility concerns related to our services, please contact us directly and we will work with you to address your needs promptly.
